Please read the full terms below carefully before signing.
1. Nature of Activity & Assumption of Risk
Pickleball is a racket-and-ball sport. Although the balls and equipment used are relatively light, participation involves inherent physical risks including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, collisions with other players, contact with paddles or balls, and eye injuries. These risks are normal for physical sports and I acknowledge that they exist. Nextute Education is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages incurred during play. This program provides group activities and general instruction on the rules and how to play pickleball — it is not formal, individual, or academic coaching.
2. Parent/Guardian Supervision
A parent or legal guardian must remain on-premises and actively supervise their child at all times during the session. Children must not be left unattended. Parents and guardians are not permitted to directly participate in gameplay; their role is limited to secondary support only (e.g. picking up stray balls, providing encouragement).
3. Code of Conduct & Zero Tolerance Policy
Nextute enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy toward abusive, aggressive, disrespectful, or disruptive behaviour from participants, parents, or guardians. Any such behaviour will result in immediate removal from the session without warning and no refund will be issued.
4. Fees & Payment
All activity fees must be paid in full prior to or on the day of play. Participation may be withheld if fees are outstanding.
5. Withdrawal & Refund Policy
If your child is unwell, uncomfortable, or not feeling safe or happy during play, you are fully entitled to withdraw them from the session at any time. We are committed to every participant's safety and wellbeing, and we are happy to discuss appropriate refunds on a case-by-case basis.
6. Liability Release
In consideration of my child's participation in this program, I hereby release, waive, and discharge Nextute Education, its instructors, staff, volunteers, and partners from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising out of injury, loss, or damage sustained during participation.
7. Medical Authorization & First Aid
Nextute Education is a registered business. All staff and instructors hold valid Working With Children Checks (WWCC). In the event of injury or a medical emergency during a session, program staff are authorised to administer initial basic first aid as required. If further emergency care is needed, staff may summon emergency medical transport. All associated costs are the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
8. Standard Group Sport Conditions
I understand that decisions made by program supervisors regarding safety, session management, and conduct are final. I consent to my child's photo or video being used for program-related promotional purposes unless I notify Nextute in writing. I confirm that the child named in this form is fit to participate in physical sporting activity on the day of play.
